Rachel has trained at numerous dance studios, studying various ballet techniques. In addition to her emphasis in ballet, technique, and pointe, Rachel has also been trained in lyrical, contemporary, modern, and jazz. She has performed with dance ministries at churches, schools, conferences, and other Christian venues along the East Coast, as well as internationally and cross-culturally. Some of her favorite local community performances have been performing for Dicken’s Holiday, Manna Church events, at nursing homes, and with CFRT.As owner and artistic director, Rachel brings a unique combination to the table, with work experience in administration, leadership, ministry, cross-cultural missions, teaching, and event coordination. She graduated with honors from Grace College of Divinity with theExperience Internship’s Certificate in Christian Leadership (2011), Certificate in Missions (2011), and Bachelor of Divinity (2013); she also received GCD’s Christian Leadership Award (2011) and the ABHE Delta Epsilon Chi Alumni Award (2014). Passionate about consistent learning, Rachel has recently been certified in Jackrabbit Technologies - Supervisors and Managers role.Although her dance and teaching journey did not begin with AODA, Rachel has been blessed to have been a part of Alpha & Omega Dance Academy since it first began, as a dancer, member of the AODA Company, staff (assistant, teacher, artistic team), and now owner and artistic director since 2016. She is passionate about the way dance enables people to experience joy and holistic health as they make new friends, try new things, exercise, and express themselves in creative ways. AODA has truly become her family, and she is grateful for the opportunity to pour back into the community that has impacted her so much!Rachel teaches pointe, jazz, and company.
