Registration Deadlines

June 2-30: Early Bird Discount Fall 2019-Spring 2020 Registration — Only $15! (waived for summer enrollments)

July 1-August 14: Regular Fall 2019-Spring 2020 Registration — $25 ($10 off for summer enrollments)

August 15 and on: Late Fall 2019-Spring 2020 Registration — $35 (Discount for summer enrollments is now closed)

Holidays and Special Events

SEPT 2: Labor Day - All AODA Closed

SEPT 23-28: Bring A Friend To Dance Week
Students may bring a friend or sibling to class during this week for free! Guest must be appropriate age and skill level for the class.

OCT 28-NOV 2: Wear Costumes To Dance Week (Main Studio only)
Students may wear old dance costumes or non-scary Halloween costumes to classes held in Studio A or B (FCS and VCA classes do not apply)! Costumes should still be modest and able to be danced in, and students should bring their normal dance shoes.

NOV 15: Non-refundable Recital Costume Fee(s) Due
Those set up on recurring payments, you will have your costume fees auto drafted on Nov 15.

NOV 27-30: Thanksgiving Break - All AODA Closed

DEC 14: Winter Showcase 4-7pm
This our annual showcase & fundraiser! This year it is held at Church of the Open Door on Cliffdale Rd. For more information on performing, being a vendor, or helping, visit our “Events” page.

DEC 17-23: Pajama Week
Students may wear pajamas (Christmas or normal PJs) to classes held in Studio A or B! Pajamas should still be modest and able to be danced in, and students should bring their normal dance shoes.

DEC 24-JAN 1: Christmas Break - All AODA Closed

DEC 28: Free Day of Dance

JAN 20: MLK, Jr. - All AODA Closed

APR 13-18: Easter/Spring Break - AODA Main Studios Closed

MAY 25: Memorial Day - All AODA Closed

End-Of-The-Year & Recital Dates

MONTH OF APRIL: Recital Costumes Handed Out
All accounts must be up to date and costume(s) paid for in full to receive costume(s).

MAY 11-16: Picture Week
Class recital pictures will be taken by Millshots Photography during normal class time. FCS/VCA classes will be scheduled a time at the main studio. It is free to participate; pay only for the group/individual pictures you wish to keep!

MAY 18-23: Gift/Award Week
Teachers will present gifts and/or awards at the end of each student’s first class of the week. Parents may come to watch and take pictures during the last 5-10 minutes of class.

MAY 26-JUNE 1: Pajama Week

MANDATORY DRESS REHEARSALS (dancers ages 7+): Tuesday, June 2 and Wednesday, June 3 at 5:30pm, at Huff Concert Hall, Methodist University

his year, due to size, we will have two afternoon productions for dancers 7+ (same story and cast, different dancers). Which (or both) dress rehearsal(s) your dancer comes to will be determined by which show(s) their class is performing in. More information to come.

*Tentative* RECITAL DAY: Saturday, June 6, 2020, at Huff Concert Hall, Methodist University. Times TBA.
This year, due to size, we will have our normal Children’s Recital (dancers ages 3-6) in the morning, and two afternoon productions for dancers 7+ (same story and cast, different dancers). If your dancer is 7+, they may be in just one of the afternoon shows or both, depending on number of classes they are in. If you have multiple students, we’ll do our best to have them performing at the same show, but with so many students, it will not always be possible. NOTE: There will be two different dress rehearsals for the two different afternoon productions (see above).
